The Night Everything Changed

Marko, Tom, Adam and Reuben visit a fortune teller at an autumn fair expecting harmless fun. Instead, each receives a terrifying vision of the future. When fragments of those visions begin entering the real world, the friends must decide whether they were shown warnings—or given sentences.

Their futures appear separate. They are not.

WATCH FROM THE BEGINNING

Meet the Four They entered the tent together. Their futures will not remain separate.

Marko

The youngest

Tom

The protector

Responsible and kind, Tom is raising his sister Mia and believes every disaster can be prevented if he acts quickly enough.

Adam

The reckless one

Privilege cannot quiet Adam’s loneliness. He buries it beneath alcohol, drugs, casual hookups and the belief that nothing is truly serious.

Reuben

The quiet one

Laid-back, private and addicted to adrenaline, Reuben locked his emotions away and sank them somewhere no one could reach.

001 The ReadingPrologue spoilers

Four friends step into a fortune teller’s tent at the autumn fair. What begins as a shared adventure becomes something intensely personal: each is confronted with a terrifying vision of his future.
They leave with more than a story to tell. They leave with images they cannot easily dismiss—and no clear way to know whether what they saw must come true.
What remains open: Was she showing them a possible future, delivering a warning, or revealing something already in motion?
A glimpse of the future is not the same thing as an explanation.
002 Four Friends, Four VisionsPrologue spoilers

The visions strike at different vulnerabilities. These are the futures the friends are shown—not events we should assume have already happened in their everyday lives.
Tom: He sees the fatal accident of his younger sister and himself turning to drugs as he struggles with her death. For someone who wants to protect her, the vision makes helplessness terrifying.
Marko: The boy he has feelings for and that boy’s friends turn on him. Affection gives way to humiliation and violence.
Reuben: Crows become part of his nightmare. Their presence is something to notice, not yet a complete explanation of what his future holds.
Adam: Devil-like imagery brings fear into his vision. Whether he can dismiss the experience is a different question from whether he understands it.
Four different fears. Is there one thread connecting them?
003 After the ReadingEpisode 1 spoilers

The friends leave the tent, but the experience does not stay behind. Tom rushes home to check on his sister. Disbelief offers little comfort when the vision felt real.
The paper. Marko describes feeling something stuck in his throat before bringing up a piece of paper. Later, he and Tom examine it and discuss whether the fortune teller could somehow have planted it. The paper gives them something physical to question; how it got there remains unexplained.
A familiar face? The fortune teller seems familiar to one of the friends, but neither her identity nor the reason for that recognition is established. It is a lead, not an answer.
The doll in the car. Erika finds a doll in the glove compartment. Reuben says it is not his. Erika thinks it resembles the kind her mother’s friend sells, and Reuben asks to visit the shop the next day. That resemblance points them toward someone to ask—not a confirmed source.
They can question what they saw. But what do they do with the things left in their hands?
004 Fear—or Evidence?Episode 2 spoilers

The deer. Tom describes a deer being hit outside his building. The suggestion that somebody might have left it there for him turns an apparent accident into a disturbing question. That suggestion is not proof of deliberate placement.
The poppet. Reuben and Erika seek an explanation for the doll. Denise identifies it as a stand-in for a person and interprets its being left for Reuben as a sign of harmful intent. Reuben still suspects Adam may have planted it.
Those explanations belong to the characters. The objects are real within the story; their meaning, origin and connection to the visions remain open.
Are they connecting unrelated events—or beginning to recognize a pattern?
005 The ClassroomEpisode 2 spoilers

“Once fear takes hold, people will believe almost anything.”
The teacher offers a way to understand witchcraft accusations through fear and blame. He also recounts a local story: four men accused the same woman, and she cursed them before she died.
That account gives viewers something to consider beside the friends’ experiences. It does not, by itself, establish who the woman in the tent is or prove that the present-day friends are connected to those men.
A lesson about the past. A question about what is happening now.

The files follow the released story. Connections are questions until the episodes establish otherwise.
