“Not This Song” sits in a different space within the Into The Ether catalog — a theatrical, Broadway-inspired ballad that leans fully into emotion, memory, and storytelling. Built around sweeping orchestration and expressive vocal phrasing, the song captures a very specific moment: when a piece of music unexpectedly resurfaces and brings the past rushing back with it. It’s not just about heartbreak, but about timing — when you’ve moved forward just enough that revisiting what was feels almost unbearable.

I made this song since I do love musicals so wanted to try my hand at making this style of song. Since it’s so different from my normal YouTube music, it didn’t feel like it ‘fit’ in with all the other songs I post. So this Vault is for songs like this! Enjoy!
